I have an ASROCK X870 Steel Legend WiFi and need help with setting up the BIOS on it and using an AMD Ryzen 9 7950x CPU.

Which forum dealing with the MB would be the best for me to get some help with the BIOS?

What I'm looking for is the system would boost from idle to whatever it needs to on its own that not only for the CPU but the memory as well. The last time I did this it was simple back in 2012 but not today. I have contacted ASROCK support but nothing has come back.

I totally get where you're coming from ??jumping from a 2012 build to modern BIOS settings can be a bit overwhelming, especially with platforms like AM5 and features like Precision Boost, EXPO, and Smart Access Memory.

For your ASROCK X870 Steel Legend WiFi and Ryzen 9 7950X, the best forums to get in-depth BIOS setup help would be:

Overclock.net ??They have dedicated motherboard and Ryzen CPU subforums, and plenty of users with high-end builds like yours.

Reddit?s r/ASRock and r/AMD ??Both are active, and you?ll find a lot of community-driven support, including BIOS walkthroughs.

Tom?s Hardware Forum ??Great for technical questions and detailed step-by-step assistance.

As for your goal ??yes, modern Ryzen CPUs can handle automatic boosting quite well through Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO). Just make sure you?re running the latest BIOS (check ASRock?s support site), enable PBO in the BIOS, and enable EXPO (or DOCP/XMP) for your memory to hit its rated speed. You can leave most other settings on Auto unless you're tweaking voltages or clocks manually.

If you?re like me and prefer keeping things clean and efficient ??whether it?s your PC or your workspace ??I also recommend looking into services like Atlantic Recycling Skip Hire if you?re clearing out old hardware or doing any renovation at home. They were super helpful during my last setup!

Hope this helps, and feel free to drop a screenshot of your BIOS if you need help going through settings. Cheers!
