I have 2 sticks of 8gb team dark ddr3 1600 ram that won't boot with the motherboard. They work fine in another motherboard. Is there a list of the latest updated list compatible ram for the 2.0 bios? "Improved compatibility" doesn't really tell me anything and I don't think the ram list on the main site is up to date.

No there isn't. The QVL was published when the board went into production. And then only with the compatible memory they had available at that time.

Are the two sticks you have from a 16GB(2x8GB) kit or are they "loose' sticks sold individually?

1600 shouldn't present a problem. When you say they don't boot, are you setting XMP, or manually entering their primary timings and voltage?

Can you post CPU-z screenshots of each sticks SPD and Memory tabs from within CPU-z please.

What CPU are....... Why not list all the hardware your system is comprised of, including the PSU and its age.

Yes, we need more details about your PC, and the exact model number of your Team memory.

That this memory works fine in "another motherboard" is also a much to general statement, and does not help your situation.

There are very few 8GB DIMMs listed in the Memory Support List for your board.

Do you have a POST beep speaker connected to your board, and enabled in the UEFI? If so, you should get a POST beep error code if your PC won't "boot"/start with that memory.

8GB DDR3 DIMMs are most likely Double Sided (DS) types, with memory chips on both sides of the memory PC card. DS memory is usually said to work better in the A1 and B1 memory slots, have you tried that yet?

Also, clearing the UEFI/BIOS when installing new memory is highly suggested, if not necessary.

I've tried it in all configurations and whatnot. It's a timeout error, so the pc will endlessly reboot with the ram. There is really no point in discussing this anymore if the updated list isn't available.

I'm sorry you feel you need to discontinue discussing this.
