Hi there,
I am having problems with setting correct resolution on both Windows 10 Pro and Ubuntu 20.04. Neither will give me an option for 3440x1440 which is the correct resolution for my display. Ubuntu 20.04 will not even boot with Intel drivers. It has to have nomodeset enabled in order to work. This is possibly unrelated to Windows problem. Not sure. Windows recognizes my UHD630, but will not detect correct resolution. At this point, I've tried 3 different HDMI cables and 2 different drivers. DCH Version: 27.20.100.9316 (latest driver) being among the two. Additionally I've attempted to add my resolution in Intel Graphics Control Panel which resulted in "Mode Unsupported" message. My system: -Intel i7-10700 w/ Intel UHD Graphics 630 -ASRock B560M PRO4/AC LGA 1200 -No dedicated GPU After spending days on troubleshooting both Windows and Ubuntu, I am not really sure what to try next. Perhaps there is some setting in UEFI that I overlooked£ Additional detail: this display works excellent with any HDMI cable and OS when hooked up to my laptop. Thank you in advance! |
