Hi Everyone,

I have a asrock z590-c/ac and having issues once I enable XMP profile 1.

I'm trying to use 4 sticks of CORSAIR - VENGEANCE RGB PRO 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800) C18 Desktop Memory - Model:CMW32GX4M2D3600C18 .

Firmware is the latest version for the motherboard.

If I don't enable XMP the system boots and detects memory at 2133mhz.

If I just have 1 stick in slot A2 and 1 stick in B2 I can boot up with XMP enabled and it runs at 3600mhz.

I've done so with both pairs of sticks and the windows memory diagnostic tool finds no issues.

I was able to get it to boot at first with all 4 sticks and XMP enabled but that may have been before I upgraded firmware. Even then, when I ran windows memory diagnostic tool it detected errors. It doesn't detect any issues when XMP is enabled and just two sticks are in.

I've cleared CMOS and resetted everything back to default, but each time I enable XMP it doesn't properly boot and eventually takes me to a warning screen that indicates the system had issues booting. Finally I get taken to windows but the memory is bacK at 2133mhz.

Do I need to also bump up the memory voltage manually? I'm not an expert OC'er and don't blame on OCing the system, just would love to get the memory to run at the rated speed.

They were 2 packs of 2.

I believe I resolved this by setting the frequency manually to 3600 after enabling XMP profile 1 and increasing the memory voltage to 1.40. I was able to successfully boot up and ran windows memory diagnostic with no errors.

I may try lowering voltage back down to 1.35 and see if it was just the frequency setting which needed to be updated.
