After various problems with the latest UEFI Version 4.60 I decided to completely erase the flash with the AfuEfix64 UEFI tool.

Flash worked fine and board works without issues, but I noticed that in the process some DMI information got deleted and not updated correctly.

Is there a way to restore this information?

Which BIOS should I use?

if dmi is corrupted i doubt u can boot
dmi is part of bios (any), it should get rebuilt when u startup your pc (before boot)
if u can boot, than all is fine

Thanks for your answer.

So why is it, that neither HWinfo64 nor Aida are able to report the DMI info correct? Sensors that once worked are now shown as vin5,vin6, etc.

I already tried to reinstall the x370 chipset drivers (even with DDU, that wipes them, too).

This problem only occured the moment I flashed the bios via uefi with the AfuEfix64 command and wiped everything.

Interestingly, with some external tool (dmidecode.exe) the info is shown....somewhere.

What could have corrupted the data or the readout?

i dont know why you used the non offical tool to flash but hey ho ,its causes strange issues

what i suggest and i would have done is to DOS flash back to early bios
this will perform proper erase and write, and then flash forward to desired bios using instant flash via your bios
