In a typical daily jobs or games CAS (and thighter timings in general) help more, as the workloads are not bandwidth-limited.

On the other side are highly-multithreaded apps (remember Ryzen's Infinity Fabric?) and scientific/multimedia/rendering apps. They need evey ounce of bandwidth, and benefit from the increased inter-CCX speed (which is linked with DRAM speed).

Hi,

The XMP setting is 3000Mhz CAS 15^^

For now the CAS 15 dosen't work on my two AM4 motherboard but maybe the new ryzen cpu will help.

Thank's your answers, finally a new bios fixed the problem^^.
Topic can be close (don't know if I have to do it mylself^^)
