I'm new to using the NVMe M.2 SSD HD's and I bought a Samsung NVMe M.2 500GB HD. The model is MZ-V7E500. The motherboard is Asrock B450M Pro4. I noticed mine is not in the list of supported drives. I just assumed if it will fit the slot it would work. and pcpartspicker.com said it was compatible. The computer does not detect the drive at all. I am on the current firmware that supports my CPU 4.30 (CPU is 2700x).
Are there suggestions on what to try? Main Page to this motherboard https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B450M%20Pro4/index.asp#Specification SSD supported drives. https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B450M%20Pro4/#Storage |

Nevermind my mistake, these new slot sizes are so very small I did not notice there are two. I'm guessing the other slot is for a different type.
