I have a brand new faral1ty gaming itx/ac and trying to set it up but i have seveal issues already.
my configurations are;

-ryzen 5 1500x processor
-gskill trident z ddr4 3000 (2x8GB set) F4-3000C15D-16GTZB memory
-msi radeon rx 460 2g oc graphics
-xilence 420w psu

the bios version was initial and updated to versions step by step to the latest ver. 4.40 hoping to solve below problems:
1. at first power on system try to start then stop 2 or 3 times than boot up
2. in bios i have try several settings but ddr's showing "single channel" (total ram size and latencies seems correct)
3. in windows total memory size looks 16GB ok. but usable size is 7.9GB
4. the graphic card fan not spin up but at first power up it rotates 2-3 times and then stops

After all of these problems, first i replaced the psu with corsair 600w for testing, still same, then removed one ddr stick, still same...
but in windows, total and usable size is correct; 8GB

For ddr and power on issue i think my trident z sticks could be incompatible?
but i can not resolve that the  why graphic card fan is not working?

My old system was MSI B85I, i3-4330 and same graphic card fan is working from power up to stutting down.
So I stuck in with these issues, can anyone have any idea or suggestion?
Thanks in advance.

99% of the time it is ............

one of the ram sticks isnt seated fully

you need to press them in with much more force than ANYONE is happy to use

Hi, i remove and mount it 3 times...

after little investigation these are tested with intel platform, so i will send ddr sticks back to reseller and ask for exchange with gskill fortis 2400 F4-2400C15D-16GFT that is compatible with ryzen.

Btw. i removed all rams from motherboard and my rx460 graphic card's fan still not working,
just spin up a little then stops again while power on, for this motherboard can it be related with idle condition.

I have tested it with msi kombustor benchmark for getting hotter but fan still not worked. If it is about
for silence and power efficency, i am wondering how much degrees need for activate itself?

before returning anything
i suggest

isolate the problem further

the ram issue first,

as i said this issue is 'usually' always a bad connection if you have reseated then we must investigate further........

please try one stick in both the slots seperately and check it shows correctly 8gb each time and then try the other ram stick in both slots and check

it is quite possible that you have maybe a problem with one of the ram slots ,not the sticks
by testing each stick on its own in both slots the results should indicate if a slot is defective or a stick of the ram

if you just return the ram without testing and it is the boards slot ,you will just be wasting your time
