Hi,
I recently decided to upgrade an existing computer with this board from a Ryzen 3 1300x to a Ryzen 7 2700x and 8gb of ram to a full 32gb. Tons of fun getting everything going. Thought I had broken a memory slot since it would not power up with a stick in the A1 slot closest to the processor but I have since fixed that. Unfortunately Windows sees the 32gb but tells me only 16gb usable. I upgraded from Windows Home 10 to Professional since I had read of a cap there. I have reset the bios, flashed a couple times now to 4.7 only to discover 4.9 came out since I built this last Saturday. In the bios I am seeing all the RAM but it is only saying single channel mode and I cant figure out how to get it to dual channel mode. I did buy 4 sticks of the same ram using 2 sticks as a twin kit, and making sure the part number matched for the other 2. The ram is HyperX Fury DDR4-2400 8gb and it is on the list from ASRock for this motherboard. And noticed the MSI Armor Mk2 RX 580 is giving me lots of trouble stuttering at the factory overclock on my 4k monitor. Any ideas for me to try? I have not pulled out the processor to check for bent pins since it appears to work right now and the last time I did the processor came off with the cooler.
