Hello all,

I have had this build since late December of last year (conveniently we're just past the one year mark...). No issues what so ever for the life of the built. Recently I started receiving the "b2" error code.. I noticed that "b2" is not an option in the manual, and maybe it's actually a "62"(although for the record it is definitely "b2" on any other standard, 7 segment display...) so I tried the suggested "clear CMOS" recommendation both by using the button, using the jumper, and removing the battery for an extended period of time with the psu being unplugged. No help.

The system hangs on the b2/62 for awhile, and then enters a restart loop. I have also tried: reseating components, reducing system to basic setup (one RAM slot populated, use onboard graphics, no USB devices, etc), and have had no luck. Never been able to get anything to display on my screen. (tried multiple monitors, various cable types, cross-tested, etc)

Any thoughts or suggestions that I might try?

Setup
ASROCK Z170 Fatal1ty i7 Professional Gaming Motherboard
i7 6700K nonoverclocked
EVGA 980 Ti Classy
2x G.SKILL Trident Z 8GB 3200 RAM sticks
Samsung 950 Pro M.2 560GB OS/Primary Drive

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It is, or must be(?), b2. As 62 would have the top horizontal segment lit if it was a 6.

The whatever TridentZ Kit p/n you have there, is it compatible with your motherboard? Post it here for me please.

I'd also like to know what PSU you have and how old it is. Too many carry over their PSUs from build to build not thinking as I do that the PSU is the foundation of the system.
