 Hey Guys!

I have an asrock x399 taichi motherboard with alc1220 sound on it. Operation system is win10 1803. When install the realtek driver it is like i don't have sound card.  It is enabled in BIOS. I try to update the newest 3.30 BIOS but ain't no change. Tried it on win10 1809 and now on 1803 as well.

I see this in the device manager. It doesn't even show i have a sound card. Only the Nvidia. Is it possible the oboard audio is wrong?

Windows should pick the soundcard and install latest drivers by default.

Try updating BIOS to the latest beta, then clear CMOS and install Win from scratch. You can always try and boot a live USB of Ubuntu or other Linux, just to see if they pick your soundcard.
