I noticed some motherboard specs indicate the m.2 Gen3 x4 speed drops from 32Gb/s to 16Gb/s (Gen3 x2) when an Ryzen APU is used. Many motherboards simply don't give much specific detail in their specs online... so... I'm worried this is a common or across the board thing.
Does using an APU always impact the m.2 SSD performance, or is this a "choice" and varies by motherboard? I would really prefer to have a motherboard that supports a 2200G but does not slow down the SSD I put in the m.2 slot. (the B450M Pro4 or B450 Pro4 perhaps?) Thanks for any insight... |
