Hello,
I'm new in Windows and PC world. I'm being used Mac since 1995 :)
I searched this forum about Raid 0 situation but i couldn't find anything or i couldn't understand.
I have Taichi Z270 motherboard and i have two exactly same Samsung 960 EVO M.2 250GB drives on it.
And i have really simple question "how can i put this drives Raid0 configuration?"
My question is very simple i assume could you give me a simple answer please.
If there is no simple answer i can change my motherboard because of that.
Because it should be a simple solution.

Raid Installation Guide:

If you need more help after following that just post back and someone will walk you through it.

Heck, post back if the Guide does help. How's that.

Your basic question may seem simple, but the answer being simple is completely unrelated to the question. That the solution should be simple is false logic with no basis, sorry to say. You are asking about one of the more complex storage configurations that is possible. If you are looking for a one or two click of the mouse solution, that does not exist.

The RAID support on your board is provided by the Intel Z270 chipset, and the Intel Rapid Storage (IRST) driver and software. That will be how it is done on ANY and ALL Intel chipset boards made by any manufacture. Changing to a different mother board will make no difference about how easy or difficult creating a RAID array of NVMe SSDs will be. ASRock or another mother board manufacture does not provide the RAID support on their products, it is solely provided by Intel.

Also, the only systems that support NVMe SSDs in RAID are the Intel 100 and 200 series chipset boards, with the appropriate number of M.2 slots.

Given your experience with Windows PCs, you have taken on a difficult task. You must have knowledge of the hardware and the requirements and limitations of that hardware. You must also be familiar with the Intel IRST software and utility used to create a RAID array. Then there will be the UEFI/BIOS option settings that are required for a RAID 0 array of NVMe SSDs.

The process for creating a RAID 0 array of NVMe SSDs is shown in the RAID guide in the link in the post above. A direct link to that guide:

http://asrock.pc.cdn.bitgravity.com/Manual/RAID/Z270%20Taichi/English.pdf

The specifics for PCIe M.2 SSDs starts on page 13. But you should really familiarize yourself with the RAID basics earlier in the guide.

You did not mention the use of the RAID 0 array, will that be your Windows/OS drive? If so, that is another topic you will need to learn about.

I'm sorry this is not the answer you want, but it is just the reality of the situation.
