First time posting
Bought a new PCIe wifi card (ASUS PCE-AX1800) to replace my old one (TP-Link TL-WN881ND) Issue is that the new card is 90% of the time not detected in neither of my 2 PCIe x1 slots, old one works fine. The board is old, ASRock Fatal1ty 990FX Killer Any known incompatibilities? I'm going crazy, never thought that a PCIe card could just not be recognized by the board. |

So it works _sometimes?_
I'd try cleaning all the contacts and re-seating the card. Beyond that, no idea. Edited by eccential - 04 Jan 2024 at 8:38pm |

Tried the new card on an older board and a newer one, works fine... It only has issues on my board
I cleaned the slots already, contacts on the card are clean too and well it works on the 2 other systems I tested The old card works just fine... In the UEFI System Browser the board doesn't even detect the card, and when it does it stops working after a time when i boot into Windows |
