Updated the bios of my H77M motherboard to an Asrock beta bios version 1.70. The upgrade updated the microcode on the CPU and now I cannot boot to Windows 10 (32 bit version).
Reverting back to bios version 1.60 did not restore the microcode on the CPU. How can I revert back to the original microcode on the CPU? Is microcode uploaded permanently to the CPU, or is it stored in the bios chip and uploaded each time the PC is booted? Thanks. |
