I am trying to increase the TOLUD on a Z97 Extreme4 with the latest BIOS (2.5). I was looking under chipset configuration but didn't see it, is there a way to do it that I am missing?

Thanks in advance!

Dear Instantiated,

Thank you for contacting ASRock.

Regarding your case, we provide a beta BIOS add top of lower usable DRAM option.
Please download the BIOS as below link.

The option is in the chipset configuration page.

THank you!

Is there a BIOS available for Z97X Killer/3,1 that has the TOLUD configurable in it? The latest one, 1.50 doesn?t have it.

Or is the above BIOS compatible with the Z97X Killer/3.1?

No, the UEFI/BIOS of any other board is NOT compatible with your board, even with the same Z97 chipset. The update process would detect the difference anyway, and not let the update process start. If the update was allowed, it would brick your board, and no one wants that.

Maybe ASRock will provide a Beta version with the TOLUD option for your board, but I have no control over that.

Adding TOLUD for bitcoin mining will have the UEFI/BIOS engineers working overtime. Sleepy
