Many linux distors like manjaro, arch, blackarch, nix, guix cannot be installed on taichi 570, it is caused by bios and amd has admitted recently.
When will asrock update taichi570's bios? |

You can use a fix for system to work around rdrand bug, but yeah, good question. I asked this already in this thread: http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=11888&title=rdrand-fix-for-ryzen-3000-series-x570-taichi
But no answer. |

ArchLinux already has a patched systemd in official repository, but the ISO is still broken because it was generated on 7.1. There's one unofficial ISO with the patched systemd on the Arch forum.
Also you might want to add "nordrand" to the Linux kernel parameters to avoid RdRand messing up other stuff in the kernel. I think someone on Reddit has already received new beta bios from asrock support, so maybe a bios fix is soon. |

AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with ASRock X570M Pro4 motherboard still has the rdrand issue when booting latest Linux, even after the latest BIOS update. Any word on when this BIOS fix will make it to the X570 chipset boards other than the Taichi?
