Z390 ITX CPU Upgrade and BIOS version help needed

   Hello!
I recently upgraded my processor from an i7-8700 to an i9-9900k(R0). I currently am on BIOS v1.5 on a Z390 Phantom Gaming-ITX/ac motherboard.

Supported BIOS versions (on the ASRock website for my motherboard) lists 4.0 for my processor. I was able to boot up normally and do not seem to have any problems at the moment (though I haven't even had the processor installed for more than an hour). However, should I upgrade to 4.0 as it is listed as 'supported since' on the ASRock website? Are there features I am not able to take advantage of or am I hindering the performance of my processor by not upgrading? 

I know I really shouldn't upgrade the BIOS if I have a stable system but the supported version is currently not the one I am running. 

Also, the auto update feature through the BIOS takes me to the latest at 4.4 versus 4.0.

I am a bit confused and am not sure what to do here. Should I leave v1.5, upgrade to 4.0 or upgrade to 4.4? 

Any advice and guidance would be appreciated.

	One more thing to add... just in case this makes a difference in the response. I have also installed new memory - HyperX Predator DDR4 16GB - High Performance 8GB x 2 CL19 4266MHz (HX442C19PB3K2/16). I see there are a number of memory compatibility improvements but no details on the ASRock site. Thanks in advance for any help!
