After reverting from Debian 9 ( installed with CSM on, Fast Boot off, Secure Boot off and the live usb was booted with UEFI compatibillity ) + Windows 10 64-bit dual boot back on my SSD to the single Windows 64-bit boot, I stumbled across some issues in UEFI:
1) In UEFI's simple interface the debian entry was still present ( even afer unplugging all the discs from mobo ) 2) The Boot Menu became bugged ( which allows for booting from different than default device without rebooting the computer or going into UEFI ). After accessing it during PC launch I can see nothing but an Asrock background. When I move the mouse a bit, the menu is "uncovered" from beneath the Asrock beckground pixel by pixel. 3) When I spent too much time in UEFI the system sometimes spontaneously freezes and I have to restart the computer. I tried the following solutions: 1)Zeroing the whole SSD with clean all command on DiskPart from Windows Installation DVD. 2) Unplugging all the discs from the MoBo. 3) Updating the UEFI firmware to the newest from within the UEFI using the LAN internet connection. 4) Restoring the UEFI settings to the dafault. None of these worked. How could I fix this bugged UEFI? ![]() ![]() ![]() My setup: Asrock H110m-HDV Intel Core I5 6500 MSI Rx 480 4GB 8 GB DDR4 240 GB GOODRAM SATA SSD |
