I have a MATX j4105m motherboard rev 1.01
with Teamgroup 16gb ddr4 2400 ram 2x8gb sticks. and a sas9220-8i 8 port card with a single 6gb he8 drive and a 256 gb ssd. I loaded proxmox on a 256gb ssd attached to one of the 2 sata ports on the motherboard a dvd drive is on the other. Everything works as it should until i put a network card in any of the pcix slots, then nothing. The board acts dead, completely dead. Even when I remove the nic it sometimes still wont start I have to unplug it and let it sit for a while, sometimes pull the ram. then it will start and run fine. I have tried two network cards one pcie1 10gtec dual gigabit and a tp-link single gigabit card. This happens even with one 8gb stick of ram installed. Both cards work in my asrock n3150m motherboard without issue which also has proxmox installed. Is this motherboard defective? Is there something in the bios that can be changed? Thanks |
