Good evening together,
I bought the H370M-ITX/ac "Socket 1151-v2". The following components have been added and installed: CPU: Intel i3-9100F RAM: 2 x 16 GB Crucial DDR4 3200 MT/s (PC4-25600, DIMM, 288-Pin) SATA M.2: Crucial MX 500 (500 GB) HDD: Seagate IronWolf 4 TB HDD NAS Housing: IPC-N1528R (see below) Power supply: 250W Flex ATX Mini Enhance ENP-7025B Well, I built the whole thing into a 19 inch, 1.5 HE case. (IPC-N1528R) https://shop.yakkaroo.de/19-Zoll-1_5HE-Server-Gehaeuse-IPC-N1528R-mini-ITX-mit-Backplane The only thing I had ordered the other days was a 4-pin to 8-pin ATX adapter from the power supply cable to the mainboard. The power supply had a 4-pin connector, the mainboard has 8-pin. So that I can hear something, I added a 4-pin beep-speaker, which I built in and connected. The problem is the following: Everything is connected correctly (I hope so) according to the manual of the board. The RAMs are stuck, the CPU including heat sink was inserted carefully and correctly. The SATA M.2 is also correctly snapped and screwed on the board. I haven't connected the mentioned HDD over the SATA connectors yet. Unfortunately the start of the computer does not work until now. In the hope that it would have failed perhaps because of the missing 8-pin power supply connection, by the adapter from 4 to 8 now the hope had it now goes. Like before and now with the 8-pin the computer does not start correctly. When switching on, the fans of the case as well as the CPU and the LEDs start. Also a USB connected keyboard, there the NUM-illumination goes on directly. Unfortunately I don't get a picture on the monitor. Whether I connect the monitor to the 2 HDMI outputs or to the display port, nothing comes. What happens is that a few seconds after switching on the computer, the now separately purchased beep speaker answers. This announces 5 short beep tones one after the other. After that nothing more. LEDs and fans of the case and CPU run as before, also during the beep and afterwards continuously. According to the internet and also in the FAQ of ASRock the 5 beeps should tell me that the CPU causes an error? Some things I have read that it should be connected to a non existing graphics card (PCI)? Irritates me, because the board has 3 outputs for monitors. Is it possibly because of the Intel i3-9100F CPU? According to the support listing on the product page of ASRock, it would be supported. I am desperate... Thank you in advance for your reading efforts. Greetings René from Germany |

Dear Iceweasel,
Thank you for posting. Regarding your question, the CPU that contains the name of F does not have the integrated graphics, kindly install a graphics card to the system. Also, just for your reference: -When a graphics card is installed, a wattage of 250W might not be enough. -The HDD that is used is a NAS HDD, which it might not work properly on the system. We would recommend using a regular HDD on the system. With thanks, ASRock TSD Edited by ASRock_TSD - 13 Oct 2020 at 3:39pm |

Many thanks ASRock TSD,
i think it will be better if i buy a new CPU. If I keep the i3-9100F CPU and buy an extra graphics card, the most expensive one will probably be the graphics card, because I can't fit every graphics card into the 19 inch case. A new graphics card for the case will not be easy to find. With a new CPU from Intel without the F in it I think I will get away better, because I would like to use the graphics from your mainboard. So I think I should get along with the 250 Watt power supply. Because of the HDD, I have noted down your information and will take it into account. A question about the CPU: I found a CPU from Intel called "Intel Core i3-8100". It has no further letters like F or similar at the end. Would this CPU be the right one for me to use your onboard graphics unit on the mainboard? Thank you. Many greetings. René |

Dear Iceweasel,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, 8100 CPU has integrated graphics. With the 8100 you are able to connect the monitor to the onboard graphics output port. With thanks, ASRock TSD |
