Hello all,

I just bought a new B365M Pro4 MB. All was well, hooked everything up and it worked on the first try, Windows fine, OK.

Went to set all the proper BIOS settings, starting with update. Used the "direct from Internet" option in UEFI. It asked for a USB drive part way through the update. All appeared fine until after the reboot, Windows will no longer boot.

All the data is still there, it looks like the update change the boot sector information. I have tried the normal fixes to get Windows 10 booting again, but haven't got it working yet.

So, wondering if anyone else has run into this problem and could give me a tip on faster resolution, and also raise awareness of the issue.

Thanks

-JCL

Yes. I tried swapping with another drive, and it came right up with no settings changes. I think the BIOS update borked the boot sector, so I am wondering if anyone else had this happen and if they fixed it.

Did you initially install windows wit only one drive hooked up? Did you install with UEFI selected,...then windows manager should be selected as your boot drive.
