This weekend I updated the UEFI on my motherboard to version 2.4, after it was posted on Assrock's download page. This update is supposedly addressing the latest issues with Intel chips (Meltdown and Spectre).
I went to the download page tonight and it appears version 2.4 has been pulled, and only version 2.3 is now showing. It's as if 2.4 was never published. It has been removed without a trace. Does anyone have any idea what is going on here?? I'm concerned about my UEFI if there is a reason it was pulled off the site without any notice. It's unusual to say the least. |
