SSD Not being recognized by Asrock Z87 Extrem11/ac

   I Moved... My computer has been in storage for 3 years. Worked fine when I turned it off and packed it in original box Cosair 900d. It had all the latest updates and looks like no new Asrock updates are needed. Now the Bios can't find the boot disk Samsung EVO 840 1TB. I've tried changing the boot disc order, eliminating the Pioneed DVD... but still can't find the samsung ssd which is in 0 Pin slot. Never had a problem with anything before. I'm thinking maybe it might be CMOS battery, or the SSD failed. First I'd like to change the CR2032. Then try to boot it. If it doesn't work then I bought a new Samsung EV0 860 1TB and will install new operating system on USB Stick. Old SSD only had Windows 10 on it. Had other HHD's with everything else. SO... QUESTIONS
1. How do I Correctly exchange new CMOS BATTERY. If that doesnt work.
2. Then try replacing the SSD to EvO 860?

3. Would welcome any suggestions????  Thank you!
