Hello there,
I have two questions regarding this motherboard. First, it is stated in the manual, that "If M2_1 is occupied by a SATA-type M.2 device, SATA3_1 will be disabled." Does this also include an PCIe-type M.2 device? And second, is it possible to eventually switch the integrated M.2 Wifi/BT-Module? Thank you so much for your time, Naitrael |

Dear Naitrael,
Thank you for posting your query to the ASRock forum. Regarding your two questions, kindly refer to the information below: First question: If PCIe type M.2 is used, SATA ports will not be affected. So you are able to use PCIe type M.2 on the M.2_1 slot and SATA SSD on SATA3_1 at the same time. Second question: Yes, you are able to switch the WiFi module. However, not all of the modules can work. Let us know which WiFi modules you have in mind. We will check for you. With thanks, ASRock TSD Edited by ASRock_TSD - 05 Jun 2020 at 3:17pm |
