Just like the subject says.
My motherboard was running fine with 2 sticks. Went ahead and upgraded and purchased 2 more of the exact same stick. Upon boot up my PC will freeze in windows load screen, even freezes in bios after a few seconds. It runs just fine with any combination of 3 sticks in any combination of dimm slots. I upgraded bios and chipset and tried xmp profiles and adjusted dram voltage up to 1.35. any advice would be great! again all 4 sticks are exactly the same model and manufacturer. Check the XMP profile for the CAS set to 16-18-18-35 at 2666mhz and leave voltage at 1.20v,
that is what their website lists it at. Also they list the SPD timing at 15-15-15-36 at 2133mhz 1.20v. Have never seen part of the CAS go down when speed goes up so am assuming that may be an error and it probably should be set to 16-18-18-36 at 2666mhz, if still no go try 16-19-18-36. |
