Hello,
I am trying to install the beta P3.30P bios with the settings for SM951 M.2 SSD (Installed by additional PCI-e to M.2 card). I unzip the file and copy to a USB Fat32 formatted stick. It is the only file on that USB stick X79E11_3.30P. When I try to Instant Flash the bios it will see the file and display the file with a \ in front of the file \X79E11_3.30P but lock up the computer. You can't click on the displayed file or X out of the displayed file. It just sits there displaying the found bios file. There are no errors displayed. I power down the computer to restart and it will return to normal operation. I have tried flashing through the internet but it comes back as bios is up to date. It doesn't display any beta versions to select. I exit out of bios setup without any problems. What am I doing wrong? |
