What settings do I need to make to automatically mute the speakers when I plug my headphones into the Front Panel audio connectors.
I have an AsRock Z270 Pro4 motherboard. I have the Realtek audio driver installed from the support download section for that motherboard. What other info do you need? I don't think this should be CPU or video card dependent. Thanks for your help. Geoff

I just figured it out.
In the BIOS, under Onboard HD Audio, under Front Panel, the 'HD' option must be selected. (not AC97).
