I'm running a z370 Taichi with the latest firmware as of today, and an 8700k.  I have two Samsung 960 EVO 512GB m.2 drives.  I followed the Asrock youtube video and set it in RAID mode, selected the two drives, and created a 1TB RAID 0 volume.  I copied the floppy files to USB.  I ran Windows 10 1709 Pro install and tried to load 64-bit drivers but it didn't see any after selecting the 64bit floppy directory.  I switched to the 32bit floppy directory and it saw drivers, so I loaded them.  It saw the 1TB RAID volume, but it gave the error, "Windows cannot be installed on this disk.  The computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk.  Ensure the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu."

I was able to format the 1TB volume from within the Windows 10 install, but still cannot select it to continue installing.

So, my first question is, why didn't the 64-bit driver appear?  Second question is why doesn't it see the RAID volume as an installable location?

I have done this a few times and always have better luck integrating the Intel RAID drivers into my install image before install. There are several ways to do this, I like using DISM GUI:

I figured out the root cause of my issue.  My USB stick with Windows 10 wasn't UEFI-compatible.  This time I used rufus, slipstreamed the 64bit RAID drivers, and it installed like a champ :)

Thanks to those who responded.
