Hi,
My PC specs: Processor: Pentium G3258 Motherboard: ASRock H81 Pro BTC RAM: SK Hynix 4GB x 2 GPU: Radeon RX 460 Since long time, there were issues with power on after a power cut. Few weeks ago, CPU chassis' front panel's headphone socket stopped producing sound in one side, so today evening I decided to open up the chassis and resolve both these issues. First thing I did was replace the CMOS battery, then put the jumper on clear position and tried to turn on, nothing happened, I put the jumper back in normal position, it turned on but I didn't any monitor signal, I fiddled with CMOS jumper and battery few times and I got the monitor signal, got into the UEFI, but there I was being shown that only one RAM was installed. So again I disconnected the power, took out the RAM and reinstalled it. But since the I'm not getting any monitor signal, it turns on for few minutes and restarts. So far I tried removing the CMOS battery, placing the jumper on clear, and leaving it for 10 minutes. But nothing happened. Tried it for 2 and half hours without success. Now I'm leaving it without CMOS battery and the jumper on clear position for 4 hours, as was suggested in one the threads here. Can anyone help? Thanks |
