Hi,
I installed Ubuntu server 20.04 on an IMB-1212 motherboard. I started with the iTCO_wdt watchdog kernel module, but it didn't work. Even if everything looks fine from the OS, the computer reboots in the timeout configured in the BIOS when I activate the watchdog timeout in the BIOS. I tried every other watchdog module that would load, and none of them worked. The documentation only states "From super I/O to drag RESETCON#", it does not specify which kind of chipset is used for the Watchdog. It doesn't look like it's using the Intel chipset. Does anyone know which chipset is programmed by the BIOS watchdog timer or manage to load the proper module in Linux? Thanks |
