I've just bought a WD Blue SN550 NVME SSD and I can't get the BIOS to detect that it is there. Its the first time I've tried installing an M.2 card so there's every possibility that its an easy fix and I'm just dumb.
Specs: ASRock Fatal1ty H170 Performance i5-6500 MSI ARMOR RX580 8GB 2x HDD Thankyou in advanced!! :) |

I should mention I have moved the SATA cables for the other HDDs to SATA3_2 & 3 as I read that 0 & 1 get disabled if using M.2

Dear TheBlindLemon,
Thanks for posting your query to ASRock forum. We have checked the H170 Performance MB with WD SN550 M.2 and it can be detected properly. Kindly try with the newest BIOS 7.20 that can be downloaded from the link below: https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Fatal1ty%20H170%20Performance/#BIOS With thanks, ASRock TSD |
