Help please! A2 error and No video with X299

   hi there, 
I cannot  seem to get video and get an A2 error code 

my system is
asrock x299 taichi
Asus gtx1080 
i7 7820x
32gb of corsair vengance 

I'm not sure what do here guys I've been through everything tried DVI although I had to run a VGA adapter, checked all cables everything seems to be running fine I just get no video
should I try another graphics card?

any help will be greatly appreciated!

	Move the GPU to one of the other slots, clear CMOS and try again. Also, disconnect all unnecessary devices from the system including USB drives etc. Let us know how it goes.
