I just bought a J3455-ITX. After setting up it powers up for 1 second and shuts down. I've read the manufacture response on newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx%3FItem=N82E16813157728
and tried the troubleshooting steps posted there. I realized that my rams( M471B5273DH0-CH9)are not on the list http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/J3455-ITX/index.us.asp%3Fcat=Memory Does this MB only support those models? I want to make sure this is caused by the memory.

The memory listed on Asrocks memory QVL list have been tested to work. Modules not on the list may have been tested and did not work and some modules may have not been tested and might work. It is always best to use modules on Asrocks QVL or the memory companies QVL that list the exact motherboard you want to use them in. Without testing with QVL ram it is near impossible to tell if it is the ram or some other issue so here is a few questions. Have you reset the BIOS ? Is your power supply a new one and at least 300watt ? What make and model ? If you have 2 ram sticks try just one in A1 then try it in B1 Edited by badbri - 08 Apr 2018 at 11:23am |
