I'm trying to build a system around the X570 Taichi with a Sabrent Rocket NVMe PCIe M2. 2280 SSD. I have updated the bios to P2.10 however the SSD is never detected in the BIOS.
I have tried installing the SSD in the M2_1, M2_2 and M2_3 slots without it ever being detected. Fearing the board was the problem, I pulled the M.2 drive out of an old Dell E5570 laptop I have. The drive is a Sandisk 512Gb M.2 and the BIOS detected this drive in the M2_1 slot. So am I just needing to send the Sabrent back or is there some way of getting this drive detected. |

I am going to be installing one this morning so I will let you know if I have any issues. Sabrent 4.0 1TB PCIe M.2 NVMe drive w/ asrock taichi x570.
BIOS is up to date/ I have read that the BCLK should be set to 100 when installing - to facilitate detection - but its just something I read somewhere and should be read with that in mind. Also have you checked in the bios that the board is seeing it at all? |
