Has asrock thought about a on board programmable microcontroller for people who want an opensorce approach of controlling ARGB through OPENRGB?

It is something I have suggested to them myself. I didn't get any feedback but that
is always how they handle these things, they won't confirm or deny because of all
the levels decisions like this have to go through. I have seen quite a few good
ideas implemented over the years however. ASRock is usually pretty good like that.

Hello everyone! I just submitted a support ticket with ASRock and figured I would share here as well in case anyone else is having issues.

Setup:
AMD 9950x3d
XFX 7900 GFX
2 m.2 SSDs
128GB of CMP64GX5M2B6000Z30 RAM (4 sticks total)

When I built the system, everything was working just fine and here recently I started having this boot issue. I press the power button, I'd get double 00s on the MOBO which doesn't appear to be in the boards manual, though through Google, seems to relate to a CPU issue.

I have tried updating the BIOS to different versions (Currently trying to flash back to 3.20), cleared the CMOS multiple times, pulled the CPU to check for bent pins or burns/discoloration (there is none), checked all my wiring and cables, everything is seated.

The weird thing is sometimes after a while (i guess when it feels like it), it will actually boot and stay running until I have to restart or shutdown, then the problem comes back.

new BIOS 3.30 (X870E Taichi Lite)

Hi everyone,

I have a question about the UEFI BIOS V3.30 for a x870E Taichi Lite. I just updated from 3.20 to 3.30, and now the internal graphic is on (AMD Ryzen 9 9900X) by default (can see it in HW Info).

In BIOS 3.20 one can disable internal graphic @ "Advanced/Onboard Devices Configuration" by setting line "Integrated Graphics Controller" to "disabled".

Unfortunately, in V3.30 there is no more line "Intergrated Graphics Controller".

Did ASROCK move / hide this option now anywhere elese in the menue?
Or is it no more possible to deactivate the internal graphics?

found it:
go to
Avanced/AMD CBS/NBIO Common Options/GFX Configuration

set line
dGPU Only Mode to "enabled"

then integrated graphics is deactivated.

B850M Pro-A WiFi: Analog Audio Output far too low / Manjaro-Linux

Although since Kernel 2.6.9 Linux does support Rembrandt Radeon High Definition Audio and although I checked, that all audio drivers are installed, audio output is very low on front and on back audio jacks.

In contrast, the output level is normal, when audio output is going via bluetooth.

There is a central sound mixer (pulse audio) which shows signal levels for each input and output. The levels seem to be normal and by far not too low.
That let me assume, that I may have a short circuit in the audio cables within the computer. But checking this, showed that everything is OK there.

If I check my Linux with detailed commands like:
aplay -lL
arecord -l
pactl list cards
pactl list sinks
pactl list sources

I get an enormous list of all kind of audio devices and audio api, which I never heard of. I am astonished about the sheer mass.

Does anyone has made similar experiences on Linux? And if so, did you find a solution?
