Just picked up a Z97 Extreme 6 off of ebay and have an issue getting my video card to be recognized in PCIe2
It works fine in PCIe4 The card is a full length MSI 560ti-448. Interestingly a half length ATI Radeon 4600 works fine in PCIe2. It powers up fine. My thought is either there is a super minor short on the board that happened during shipping or the card really doesn't want to full seat. I have reseated several time. I am probably going to pull the MB out and put on a firm surface and try , but wanted to know if anyone has experienced this. I also have a Gigabyte 1060 but i am waiting for a 8pin molex adapter. The PSU is a Seasonis 550 and the chip is an i5-4690k with 16GB of Ballastix memory. Any thoughs much appreciated. Thanks K |
