Hello!
Been trying all day to make my PCIe SSD function as a bootable device. Here's my specs: Motherboard: Asrock Z77 Extreme 6 (Version: P2.80E | With NVME support) SSD: Intel 600p 512GB Adapter: ASUS Hyper M.2 x4 Mini I've been following Parsec's helpful tutorial. Started of by moving a copy of Windows 10 setup to a FAT32 formatted USB drive. Changed my OpROM Policy setting to "UEFI Only". Booted up from UEFI:("My USB name") and installed a clean copy of Windows 10 on the new ssd, no problem. Computer restarts and nothing but the USB is discovered in the boot order. (When connected to Windows 10 on my old SATA SSD the new M.2 SSD is also perfectly detected and I can see the new Windows 10 install. But still it won't show up in the boot order. ) Also tried with Windows 7, but the M.2 wouldn't show up in the device list. Thankful for any advice/suggestions.
