I have ASRock Z370 Gaming K6 and DDR4 G.Skill TridentZ 3600MHz C15 (2x8GB).
Can reach up to 4400MHz(2 sticks) with timing 19-19-19-39 1.45V without any issue. But can't boot into windows at 4500MHz with two sticks(dual channel). When I try with one stick it can boot into windows with timing 19-19-19-39 1.475V. (Each one stick is work best on a single channel at 4500MHz with this mobo, timing 19-19-19-39 1.475V.) So I want to know if this situation is a limit ddr4 for dual channel speed of the mobo, right? And if there is a solution to skip this limitation how can to do that? (In BIOS the maximun speed of DDR4 is 6300MHz in Listbox.) Sorry about my Eng. My system: ASRock Z370 Gaming K6 Intel Core i7-8700K 5.3GHz AVX -1 (delided) G.Skill TridentZ 3600C15 (2x8GB) OC to 4400MHz MSI Geforce GTX 1050Ti Gaming X AIO Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R RGB |

Is this an ASRock official board? Well I'll try on MSI or ASUS motherboard and tell my friends do not use this mobo. It's my mistake. ![]() |

No matter whose board you are using there is a point where the overclock fails. That point is dependent on the components of each individual system. It can be a different point for two seemingly identical systems.
Just because it is a computer does not mean it will do everything you want it to, there are limits. |
