My first ASRock Motherboard, the reviews looked great.
I built
and tested my new ASRock system on the Bench outside the case.
Configured
and Tested, Worked fine, installed Windows 10.
Components:
MB = ASRock
X299 TAICHI XE
CPU = I7-7820X
Drive = Samsung 960 EVO Series -
500GB
Memory = G.SKILL TridentZ S 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4
3200 - F4-3200C14Q-32GTZSW
Cooler = Corsair - H100i v2
Power
Supply = EVGA SuperNOVA G3 1000W
DVD/CD = DVD/CD Writer
Old AMD
video card and 1080P monitor.
Fractal Define R5 case came in
and I moved internal components to Case. Powered on and nothing just black
screen.. No BIOS Dr Debug = 00
Just MB LEDs & Fans running.
Checked and double checked all cabling, CPU power etc..
DR Debug suggests checking CPU Install
so I removed inspected CPU (looks good) and Re-Installed
