Hi, I have an Asrock Z97 Extreme 4 motherboard. I recently just bought an Intel 760p 512GB M.2 PCIE NVME SSD because I wanted to upgrade my 240GB Sata SSD. The previous Bios was at 2.10 and I flashed it straight to 2.60, and now it does not detect my PCIE NVME SSD at all. My question is, am I supposed to flash it to 2.40 instead of 2.60 straight? If so, how do I downgrade or restore my bios version to the previous one so i can flash to 2.40?
Thank you. Noob here. :\ xD Edited by bobowyc - 04 Oct 2018 at 7:22pm |

If it is not detecting on the latest BIOS then it is highly unlikely it will detect on an older one. It isn't worth the risk of flashing to try with an older version.
Check out this thread by Parsec on NVMe and OS installation: http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1236&title=how-to-install-windows-on-a-pcie-ssd Unfortunately NVMe and storage are not my field of expertise so I am not much help here.

Ah.. But its working on my ryzen as of now. I plugged in my ryzen board just to make sure its working. And it is detected right away. So is it because of my board or the slot has a problem? Or do I have to install drivers for it?
