I got the ASROCK A320M HDV R4.0 mobo, with a SAMSUNG SSD nvme on its M.2. slot. The BIOS just never loads while the SSD is connected, freezing the PC when forced to start on BIOS. The odd thing is that on windows, I can use the SSD as storage. Even It was possible to make a new windows install on the SSD, but it never gets to load as booting device. These are things I have done trying to fix this problem but all fail:
1.- New windows install from USB. 2.- Reset CMOS by removing the battery. 3.- Using the SSD as sole drive on the system. 4.- Updating the BIOS. 5.- Disabling the BIOS's HD screen resolution. 6.- Forcing UEFI from windows 10. Further, the boot menu (by pressing F11) actually loads, but the SSD is not detected. Brand new system. For now, I just ran windows on a SATA 3 HD and everything else on my system seems to be working properly. Any advice or reference will be appreciated. Thank you. |
