Hi All,

I just purchased my parts for my new build.

Upon closer inspection I see that the ram I purchased (G.Skill ripjaws V 3000mhz; F4-3000C16D-32GVRB) isn't on the QVL list for the z370 Taichi, only for the z270 Taichi.

I don't have yet the CPU (i7-8700k) on hand and can't tell if the ram will work or not.

Can anyone let me know if I will run into issues?

Thanks

Update: I did some more digging and G.Skill has some other similar RAM sticks that have the z370 Taichi on the QVL list.
https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-3000c16d-32gisb
https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-3000c16d-32gsxfb

If we compare with my sticks https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-3000c16d-32gvrb they have the same specifications except height and name:

Memory Type DDR4

Capacity 32GB (16GBx2)

Multi-Channel Kit Dual Channel Kit

Tested Speed 3000MHz

Tested Latency 16-18-18-38

Tested Voltage 1.35v

Registered/Unbuffered Unbuffered

Error Checking Non-ECC

SPD Speed 2133MHz

SPD Voltage 1.20v

Fan lncluded No

Warranty Limited Lifetime

Features Intel XMP 2.0 (Extreme Memory Profile) Ready

Additional Notes Rated XMP frequency & stability depends on MB & CPU capability.

Would I be correct in assuming that no one bothered to test the version I bought with the Z370 Taichi?

Just an update to confirm that F4-3000C16D-32GVRB works with the Taichi.

Thank You for verifying the G. Skill F4-3000C16D-32GVRB ram does work with that board. I found that most all the G.Skill F4 GVR ram does work with the Asrock z370 boards with only a few exceptions. Thanks again and sorry no one posted a reply before this.
