AB350M Pro4 R2.0 BIOS ver. 2.0
Ryzen 5 1600 (8core) Channel A1A2: DDR4 2x8GB GoodRAM (Hynix) Channel B1B2: DDR4 2x8GB HyperX (Nanya) Can you bring back opportunity to change memVREF voltage under AMD\PBS\ section of BIOS. I need it to stabilize my 32 GB RAM - 4x8GB modules. memVREF option is gone from latest BIOS version (I think starting from version 1.4). Now I use bios version 2.0 (because it has better memory OC capabilities, and CPU P-states). It's seems memVREF value calculated incorrectly if 4 memory slots are used. If 2 memory slots are used (A2B2) then it's working OK. I'm totally sure my RAM stability problems are related to incorrect memVREF value. I tried to influence memVREF value (which invisible now) by changing SOC voltage - but with little gain. SOC voltage has 50 positions to test (assuming safe voltage 0.9-1.2v). Multiplied by other modifications - like changing tCL, tRC, DRAM voltage, CUDBUS etc... it will be too many test conditions to check for stability. |
