16gb RAM shown on Windows and but only running 8gb

   Hi guys, I'm not sure what happened but everything was fine for 2y straight until these few days. My PC has been freezing, so the 1st thing came into my mind was maybe I ran out of RAM? So I checked 'Task Manager' and you can see it from the image file below, it shows 16gb is available but only 8gb is used.

I tried looking around Google, and I tried testing each RAM one by one on each SLOTS and everything is just fine, booting.

CPUz looks fine, I guess... If so I've no idea what happened, anyone here got a solution for this problem?

I'm using ASROCK B450M-HDV by the way, and yup I've updated to the latest firmware that ASROCK recommends, and also it's been more MONTHS now.

	BIOS says single channel mode when it should say dual channel When either stick is installed by themselves .. does windows show 8gb usable?
