This A320M-HDV R4.0 only freeze when system is in idle mode, if stress test or playing games there is no such issue. Not sure if it relates to power saving or something and I have reinstall win10 already. My CPU is 3400G with onboard graphics, some people said just RMA this board, but I want to ask if there is other suggestions before doing it, thanks.

Dear Karigan,

Greetings, this is ASRock TSD.

Regarding your question, kindly verify the suggestions below:

1. Please refer to user manual to clear CMOS.
https://download.asrock.com/Manual/A320M-HDV%20R4.0.pdf

2. Please download and install all in one driver from the link below:
https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/A320M-HDV%20R4.0/index.asp#Download

3. Please install latest All in one driver.
https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/amd-ryzen-processors/amd-ryzen-5-desktop-processors-radeon-vega-graphics/amd-ryzen-5-1

4. Please install only one RAM to the system with default BIOS settings.

Thanks!

All the best,
ASRock TSD

Karigan, many people including myself have has crash/freeze/random rebooting issues with this motherboard when used with the 3400g processor. Not sure if you're out there still struggling with this...but the only solution found to work is to downgrade the motherboard bios to version 3.3. This is what worked for me as well. Follow the same procedure to install the older bios that you would use to install a newer one. Versions 3.7 and 4.0 of the bios seem to have issues when used with this cpu.
