I have two gpus I want to use in my system one for mining one for regular use. They are a 1070ti and 3060ti. I plugged them both in and I'm only getting to ASROCK boot logo and freezes, any suggestions to fix this?

Thanks

You can't. Not with such differential GPU types. Also, you need videocards that can be directly connected to each other, such as the nVidia Bridge (ATi Crossfire), or whatever they're calling it now. Just shoving in two cards is like the source of the problem, because the BIOS sees a clear conflict and has no idea which card to use, so it freezes.

Dedicated crypto miners use 2 or 4 of the exact same card and are bridged. When they're directly connected to each other, the BIOS sees only one video setup, even if it is multiple physical chips. Sort of how a NAS can have 10 physical drives, but displays as a single volume combining their total capacities.

You simply cannot use more than one stand-alone card.

Now, it MAY be possible to bridge two cards with different GPUs, but the cards themselves have to have that bridging capability.

what are you running for a power supply? .. and list your whole setup's specifications.
CPU
Memory speed/amount (how many sticks)

Does the system boot fine with either video card by itself?
