Hi together,

recently I bought an X470D4U - mainly because of the IPMI interface.

After setting the MoBo up, connecting the LAN cable to the first ethernet port I was surprised, because for some reason two IPs got assigned. Turns out the IPMI is now available via the first port.

My issue: i can't change that. #settings/network/ip gives me only a bond0 interface I can select from, instead of eth0, eth1 eth2 like I would expect it.

As I want to move the IPMI interface to a physically separate network - can somebody tell me how to do this?

Factory reset the bios and the BMC/IPMI and it will work fine.

* keep your monitor unplugged from the mainboard and it will work a lot better, while you are trying to use the IPMI/KVM ;-)

Hi,
I'm trying to configure the IP firewall feature on this board's IPMI, how can I block all except certain IPs?
On Supermicro's IPMI 0.0.0.0/0 would typically do, but not on this board;

any help is greatly appreciated.
