USB type C not recognised

   I have the B550M steel legend motherboard with all drivers updated. I plugged in a Kingston DataTraveler 70 USB-C Flash Drive to the USB C connector but nothing is showing up. 

I have read around where people said you need to enable it on BIOS? I wasn't able to find anything. Am I doing something wrong?
