x570 Creator - where can I adjust the chipset fan

   In hope of getting a chipset fan control, I upgraded to the newest 3.0 BIOS yesterday, but still can't find where I can set the curve of that noisy fan to be biased toward "Silent".

Can anyone tell me where exactly or how exactly I find/do that setting?

	In the bios, under H/W monitor, near the bottom you'll find SB FAN1. That will let you adjust the chipset fan.

	Thanks for pointing that out, blkspad! Thing is, as soon as I set it to the "SILENT" profile, the fan spun up full speed (or so it sounded), and didn't stop even through a reboot and logging back into Win 10...why would that be? I ended up going back in and configuring a custom profile, which tamed it somewhat, but bottomline is that it's still the loudest thing in my system...why spend all that noney on a silent case and good fans when this mobo keep whining like it's in the heat of summer? Frankly, this whole "Creator" mobo experience has been shocking, so far...network issues that can't be tamed, faulty tb3 implementation, whining chipfan...but what are the alternatives if I need tb3? Anyway, that's gonna have to be a new thread.

	The fan presets are just garbage, I've being using custom since day 1. You can tune the chipset fan down to where it's nearly off. I keep all the fans at relatively low RPM, until the system is loaded. The only real problem I've had with my creator was the intermittent 8D post code on reboot from trying to run the Fclk 1:1 with my DDR4 3600. That seems to have been resolved with a VDDG voltage tweak though. I haven't used the TB3 yet, but I have plans for it. Everything else has been mostly OK. There have been 0 network issue for me with either interface.

	The network issues I was able to find coming from my gigabit router that's never given me issues before, but I guess its time has come :-/ The chipset fan I was able to tame with a custom profile that keeps it at 0 for anything under 70, and then ramps up slowly from there. My main reason to get this board was to be able to use my amazing and professionally calibrated Thunderbolt 3 monitor, the LG 5K UltraFine, which I rely on explicitly for all of my grading and editing work. The fact that the RTX 3090 doesn't have a direct link from the card to the board's internal dp header anymore made that impossible (at least in all of my tries), so yesterday I packed everything back up with a heavy heart and am going to send it back to the dealer. And lemme tell you, it's not easy to give up an RTX 3090 once you've had one, if only for 10 days.

	I would've just run the cable through an open slot opening. The included cable seems long enough.
